These french country kitchen linens are

hand made of a 100% mercerized cotton fabric that has a high thread count and high quality dyes that will withstand many washings. Most designs are available in regular cotton and acrylic coated cotton.

The acrylic coated tablecloths are fade resistant, water-proof, stain proof, outdoor tablecloths and do not require washing.... just wipe with a damp sponge. These are the same tablecloths described above, but are finished with a protective acrylic coating making them appropriate for both inside and outside dining. This is a unique process used in Europe and these easy clean tablecloths are very difficult to find in the US. The cloth is slightly heavier than regular cotton, but not as stiff as oilcloth. It does not look or feel like vinyl, but looks, feels, and drapes like regular cotton.
