Hand-dyed using traditional methods, they include "brushstrokes" of color in the background which add to the luminescent effect of the overall design. The quality dyes will withstand many washings. The fabric is high thread count mercerized cotton. Beautiful and durable. May be machine washed and dried. For even greater durability and easy cleaning, choose Golden Yellow Olives Acrylic Coated tablecloth. Made with the same fabric and dyes described above, in addition they are coated with acrylic which makes them virtually stain proof, water proof, and fade resistant. It does not look or feel like vinyl, but looks, feels, and drapes like regular cotton. They clean up easily with just a damp sponge. Beautiful, and practical french tablecloths for outside and inside dining. All of these french tablecloths are hemmed. Matching napkins are available.
